    Movie Treatment / Synopsis :

    A screenwriter's treatment detailing their story or concept is typically 3 to 10 pages in length, and serves to illustrate for the producer the details and overall storyline for the screenplay or concept being pitched.

    If you are pitching a concept or idea for a movie, the treatment expands on the basic idea by detailing the actual story that supports your movie idea. If you've written a complete screenplay, the treatment condenses that story into a brief overview of the storyline making it easy for an executive to decide if your screenplay is the right match for them. If the concept and story is something that works for them, they'll request the full script for review.

    In your movie treatment, you'll want to keep a basic structure (to be entered in your registration) as follows:

    ==============================

    Title:  [The title tells it all. Make it compelling and creative, while also serving what the movie is about.]

    Logline: [This is perhaps the most important aspect of your pitch. A great logline captivates the producer with the basic idea of your project, and inspires them to want to read more. For some more detailed info on logline creation, visit our Creating Loglines page].

    Synopsis: [Here you will detail the overall storyline for your concept or script. Follow the typical 3 act structure, and don't get lost in too many details. Make it efficient and effective]
